Membership of the club is open to any person over the age of 18.
A membership fee is payable when you join the club and annually on the 1st of January each subsequent year. The annual membership fee is $25 (for e-mail delivery of Walks Program) or $35 (for Postal delivery of Walks Program). A part-year membership fee of $15 (for e-mail delivery of Walks Program) is payable to cover the period between 1st October to 31st December, if you are newly joining during this time.
COVID-19 update:
For each walk, the Walk Leader will decide and state in the Walk Notice whether pre-registration of their walk is required and whether a limit applies to the number of participants on their walk. If pre-registration is required, members wishing to participate in a walk must book directly with the Leader of that walk. If pre-registration is not required, members do not need to book for that walk. For further information, refer to our 'COVID-19 Walk and Holiday Protocol'.
Note to prospective new members:
Please e-mail enquiries@wearamblers.org.au (Mary T) if you would like to be sent an information package and details of current Short Notice Walks. Prior to applying for membership, you may choose to join us for 3 walks within an 8 week period as a temporary member. Please contact the listed leader/s for each of your chosen 'try-out' walks to discuss their suitability. Otherwise, you may simply join the club directly and then book in with the listed leader/s for any walks that you would like to join.

WEA Sydney benefits for Rambler members:
Part of the annual membership fee is used to pay associate membership of WEA Sydney.
Full membership of WEA costs an extra $10 (paid directly by you to WEA) and includes the following benefits: enrolment in 2 free members-only lectures, social events at WEA, member lucky draw for a free course each term, and receipt of a quarterly newsletter with members-only offers.
